Replenish

Have you noticed lately that one of the most important things in our home, car, and workplace is a phone charger? In addition, as we travel we tend to look for the most coveted seating areas in the airport which are those that have phone chargers. You see, without a power source to recharge our coveted phones, some people tend to panic and stress out from being unable to scroll, view, and communicate with the world. The reality is that eventually there has to be a recharging port to replenish the power in order to have continued capability and service.

Focus Scripture:

“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” Jeremiah 31:25 (KJV)

“For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.“ Jeremiah 31:25 (ESV)

“I’ll refresh tired bodies, I’ll restore tired souls.” Jeremiah 31:25 (MSG)

We are living in a day and age in which life has a way of quickly sapping us of our strength and vitality. The pressures and expectations we encounter can bring us to a place of weariness and weakness. If we are not careful, deadlines, appointments, expectations, and requirements can run us into the ground. Long hours spent commuting and working can take a toll upon us leading to burnout and sheer exhaustion. I believe we all have the understanding that without proper rest, down time, and vacations, we will experience fatigue, weariness, and sickness that eventually will hamper our productivity and overall health.

Today if you feel like you are trying to function on a dead battery, please remember the following Scriptures “Even the youths shall faint and be weary. The young men shall utterly fall. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run, and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.“ Isaiah 40:30

“And let us not be weary in well doing. For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.“ Galatians 6:9

Never doubt for a moment that God is our daily power source to make us full and complete again. He can supply that which is lacking so long as we do not neglect to daily plug into His power through prayer and His powerful Word.
